All of these artists found a way to express their content and make an impact in that environment..
I think my favorite would have to be Kehinde’s sculpture.. It’s my first time seeing almost a modern African American hairstyle, but with a historical context behind the work.. I think to create a “monument” the art being displayed should be used as an Eye Opener, or even just a way to bring people together to think.. Like a art gallery, or a ted talk. All of the monuments did justice to the art. Truthfully expressing the art context, as well as being invited by the community itself, to be apart of the environment.
